Give thanks to God, that in this season of Spring we can witness the beauty of His creation. ..a time of renewal.
Praise Him for the new life He gives us through the death and resurrection of His Son, especially as Easter approaches.
Thank Him that undeserving though we are, His mercies are new each morning:
His provision of all we need, His presence to guide, His strength for each day and hope in Him for our future.
Pray for our worship times on Sunday, that God would speak through the Rev. Smyth and that we would gather to enjoy His presence and blessing.
Let's continue our prayer for youth weekend planning. Remember those who are speaking , that God would guide them and prepare the hearts and minds of the young folk to consider their response to God's call .
Pray for Louise as she organises the catering.
Thank God for the community outreach which is done in our church:
Thank Him for answered prayer in bringing 2 new families on a Wednesday morning. Pray for the valuable input of our faithful volunteers that they may get to know the parents, grandparents and carers who attend with their children. May God guide their conversations enabling them to share God's love.
Pray for "Connect" on Thursdays and for those who help in this. May all who come feel welcome and benefit from the fellowship.
The N I Executive have recently published the draft "Programme for Government" outlining their plan on "Doing what matters most." Pray for God's hand in all future discussions as they seek to action proposals. Pray that they would make decisions based on integrity and wisdom, the outcome of which would be that our society reflects peace, unity and equality.
Saturday is International Women's Day which is the day after our Day of Prayer. Pray that girls and women, whether here or across the world in oppressive regimes, will, through policy changes be able to live their lives free from violence, exploitation and inequality.
